An Honest Clinic
Dr. Lee Haksoo personally takes responsibility for every stage, from your consultation and a thorough analysis of your eyes to the surgery itself, all within a safety focused medical system.
The finishing touch of the Beautiful Eyes Trio. By extending the eye upward at 45 degrees, this technique adds both width and height for eyes that look bigger, softer, and more open, never pulled together.
Lateral canthoplasty enlarges the upper part of the eye, extending both its width and its vertical height so your eyes look larger and more open.
A typical epicanthoplasty narrows the space between the eyes and can leave the inner corners looking sharp. The lateral canthoplasty performed at LEE HAKSOO Plastic Surgery is different: it opens the eyes softly and generously without pulling them toward each other.
The epicanthal fold is a fold of skin that covers the inner corner of the eye. It runs downward from the upper eyelid across the front of the eye, and because it hides the inner corner, it can make the eyes look small and closed off, and make them appear farther apart than they really are.
It is a very common trait, not a flaw, and how it is handled makes all the difference in how natural your result looks.
Four steps built around a minimal incision extended upward at a 45 degree angle.
Before surgery, Dr. Lee consults with you in person and designs the procedure around your eyes.
The eye is opened upward at a 45 degree angle using the smallest possible incision.
The incision is sutured toward the inside of the eye so the scar stays out of sight.
The result is a larger, more open gaze with added width and height, soft rather than sharp.
