An Honest Clinic
Dr. Lee Haksoo personally takes responsibility for every stage, from your consultation and a thorough analysis of your eyes to the surgery itself, all within a safety focused medical system.
Open up a boxed in gaze and soften a sharp one. Magic epicanthoplasty widens the inner corners of your eyes and leaves scars so well hidden they are hard to find.
Epicanthoplasty widens the inner front of eyes that look closed off, extending the horizontal width so your eyes appear larger and more open. It is an especially effective option when your eyes sit far apart or when an epicanthal fold covers the inner corners.
If your eyes are wide set or you have a monolid, widening the eye while releasing the epicanthal fold creates a bright, clear, refreshed gaze.
The epicanthal fold is a fold of skin that covers the inner corner of the eye. It runs downward from the upper eyelid across the front of the eye, and because it hides the inner corner, it can make the eyes look small and closed off, and make them appear farther apart than they really are.
It is a very common trait, not a flaw, and releasing it is what gives epicanthoplasty its dramatic yet natural effect.
Four steps from your first consultation to open, refreshed eyes, with the scar sutured out of sight.
Before surgery, Dr. Lee consults with you in person and designs the opening that suits your eyes.
An incision is made precisely along the designed line at the inner corner of the eye.
The excess skin around the epicanthal fold is separated and repositioned.
The incision is sutured toward the inside of the eye so the scar stays out of sight.
